Frequently asked questions

What is Sellmate?

Sellmate lets you describe an item once, with photos and a price, and request its publication on several marketplaces. An agent then posts the ads for you.

Which marketplaces are supported?

Leboncoin, Rakuten, eBay and Vinted.

Which photos can I upload?

JPG, PNG and WebP images, up to 5 MB each. You can add or remove photos at any time from the item page.

Why can I not publish my item?

Only active items can be published. Set the item status to Active, then choose the marketplaces on the item page.

What happens when I mark an item as sold?

Ads that are not online yet are cancelled and live ads are queued for removal, so the item is no longer offered.

Who can see my items?

Only you can see your items in Sellmate. Photos are reachable by their direct link so that marketplaces can fetch them.

How does the agent connect to my account?

With an API token that you create from your profile page. You can revoke it at any time.
